There's a lot of personality here and I loved the unique headstones. I loved the little bits of story and reading about the person's life. One of my favorites had Give life the best that's in you for it's only a one night stand there are no repeat performances brought back by popular demand.
It's an incredible spot, one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, and despite my fear of heights I enjoyed sitting at a safe distance and enjoying the view.
This was our last cemetery stop on our trip in New Orleans and it turned out to be my favorite.
Dallas seems to be a city we end up in a lot. Usually we're passing through, on our way to or from some place else, places down dirt roads and hiking trails. But this time we set it as our destination and took the scenic way down.
At the base of the falls you can look up, into rushing water and sunlight, deafened by the roaring water.
Norman has a small town feel, maybe because of the collage, it seems that a lot of collage towns feel the same, but I always think of it as part of Oklahoma City for some reason.
I don't think anyone would argue if I said the best part is the food. I love the deep fried everything, especially the Twinkies.

It turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip. Maybe it was the time of day; the setting sun working it's golden hour magic, the ocean so clear and so blue, the wildlife, the flora, everything about this stretch of coastline was incredible.
We found this short loop off a scenic highway in Cameron Parish and even on an overcast rainy day we still saw a lot of wildlife.
I never get tired of visiting the Wichita Wildlife Refuge, no matter what time of year I go, it's always beautiful. And the view from the top of Mt. Scott will always be one of my favorites. But going in the spring is the best time. Everything is in bloom, the rolling hills and plains covered in yellow flowers and cacti with purple blossoms.
Cemeteries are always quiet, under sun or grey skies, whether the markers are decaying stone or wood.
San Francisco has joined other places in my heart. There are spots I'll remember, where my legs felt like jello from walking up steep hills all day
My favorite parts of New Orleans were the less crowded things; getting up earlier than anyone else and walking around before the streets were too busy
I left fascinated with saguaro; they're unusual and taller than I thought they would be, covering hills and dipping down into valleys.
I love abandoned places. I've always been drawn to them; old schools and hotels, a lone house sitting in the middle of a corn field.
Monument Rocks is unusual and beautiful, stark and otherworldly, surrounded by prairie under a wide blue sky.
On the way down we found the house from the Texas Chainsaw Massacreremake. It's kind of an underground attraction
Forty minutes north of San Francisco is Muir Woods, part of the Golden Gate National Parks in California, home to redwoods and moss
